Newgrounds.com — Everything, By Everyone.

A while I ago I realized that I really, really like animating but I had never really done any major projects. The only two flashes I've ever submitted to Newgrounds took me about less than a week to make and are really, really bad. It makes me feel shit because I love animating, but I just can't seem to stick to an idea. I have around 50 unfinished .fla files on my harddrive and they're getting dusty.

You know when you know you want to animate something but you have no idea what to animate? I have that feeling basically every time I'm breathing. It sorta make me feel shit and like I'm going nowhere in life because I'm passionate about film and animation, but I've never really had anything to contribute to the industry.

BUT, I'm currently working on a project that I'm determined to finish and it feels awesome. It's for a competition too so that helps with the drive to finish it. I'll submit it here after the competition ends.

The point is, I've really underestimated the power of always having something to work on in flash and for that matter, short term goals. Which is a bit strange 'cause I've never really made any short-term or long-term goals in life. I've just been cruising through life, but now I'm cruising towards something.
